On Wednesday, 15 March 2023, Jeremy Hunt delivered his first Spring Statement as Chancellor. His ‘Budget for Growth’ aims to encourage people back into work and to ensure that the UK can continue to stay out of a ‘technical’ recession.
A number of key changes were announced including the abolition of the lifetime tax-free pension allowance, an extension to the fuel duty cut and the introduction of a Draught Tax Relief.
