I am the joint managing partner at HW Fisher. For the past decade I have headed up the firm’s not-for-profit group, specialising on the charity side and acting for an array of voluntary organisations. Over the years, I have built up a comprehensive understanding of the wide range of accounting, taxation and governance issues around charities. I also hold the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting.
My work includes acting for a mix of corporate clients and am very passionate about helping all my clients grow and develop. I have always been sector agnostic and have had clients in property, software, retail and media which has given me a wide variety of experience.
I have advised on a number of multi-million pound business deals including the acquisition of a chemical production and wholesale business valued at £14m. More recently I advised on the £10m sale of an online market research business.
I have over 25 years’ experience in accounting, auditing and due diligence for commercial clients. I began my career in 1991 as a trainee with Price Waterhouse before joining HW Fisher in 1997. I became a partner in 2001 and took charge of the not-for-profit group in 2008. This year I became the firm’s joint managing partner.
