I graduated with a degree in Music from Royal Holloway and Bedford New College in 1985 before training and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1988. I joined HW Fisher in 1989.
I manage the firm’s Non-Resident Landlords department, dealing with the affairs of overseas resident individuals, companies and trusts who own property in the UK. My clients cover the full range of investors, from individuals owning a small residential property to much larger entities with significant property portfolios, both residential and commercial.
I assist my clients with all UK tax aspects of their investments, including filing returns for Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax and ATED, and liaising with HMRC whenever required. I also assist clients in ensuring they pay the correct amount of tax, and in many cases help them to recover overpaid tax from HMRC.
I am also involved with the firm’s external payroll department, as well as dealing with various other clients, including a group of family trusts.
