I have over 35 years’ experience in personal tax advice. Much of my work involves advising owner-managed businesses on their tax affairs, including family finance planning, income tax planning or estate planning.
My clients range from doctors and dentists to well-known TV and radio presenters, and other high-net worth individuals, in relation to their associated businesses, trusts and family financial matters.
It is particularly fulfilling when a business which you’ve been involved with for many years matures and can be sold profitably. I’ve been fortunate to be involved with a number of these deals over the years and, while they often involve tough negotiations and can be quite stressful at the time, they are ultimately rewarding.
I also advise on employment status matters, other employment related tax issues, plus internationally mobile executive transfers and double taxation issues.
I trained with the Inland Revenue (now HMRC) and joined HW Fisher in 1984.
