I am head of the corporate finance team. I specialise in transaction services as well as complex and listed company audits. I am also a director of HW Fisher Corporate Limited.

I deal with mergers and acquisitions (M&A), company listings on the stock market or Alternative Investment Market (AIM), or simply company owners who want to retire from being director of the company they have built.

My work is split into three main areas. I do a lot of M&A due diligence on behalf of companies preparing themselves for sale and, less regularly, on behalf of companies looking to make acquisitions.

For companies that wish to raise capital by issuing shares to investors and listing on either AIM, the standard FTSE markets or New York Stock Exchange, my team and I will also act as reporting accountants, providing financial due diligence services and full financial statements for investor prospectus’, as well as verifying a company’s financial forecasts.

I also specialise in the preparation of information memoranda for companies seeking to raise investment from the public, or from sophisticated high net-worth investors.

Most of my clients operate in the property sector, natural resources such as mining and minerals companies, and retail and manufacturing.

I joined HW Fisher as a trainee in 1985 and became a partner in 1998, progressing to head of the corporate finance team around 2000.
