Julian Challis is joint senior partner and plays a key role in running the firm. He acts for a wide range of commercial and entrepreneurial clients, particularly in the media sector. He also specialises in trusts and estate planning and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Julian holds an insolvency licence. He is actively involved in the firm’s not-for-profit group and is a trustee of a number of charities.
As well his client-focused role, Julian is the firm’s human resources partner, taking a particular interest in the professional development of the staff and the training and education of the firms trainees. He is also a board partner, taking an active role in the running of the firm.
Julian’s interests include genealogy, music concerts (Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart), History (in particular the firm’s history), stamp and coin collection (like our founder, Harold Fisher wrote a book called Confessions of an innocent stamp collector) and spending time with family and playing with his grandchildren.
