Trusts have been around for a thousand years allowing families to protect their assets. HW Fisher & Company has been around for nearly 80 years and has always had a major expertise in trusts.

In more recent history, the role of trusts has been largely for tax planning as well as asset protection. We have extensive experience of trusts, their uses and applications. We can advise on their role in estate planning during lifetime and after death; planning is the key.

We can advise on all of the aspects of UK taxation as it affects both UK and overseas trusts, but this is only the start. We understand trusts; they have significance far beyond UK tax. We liaise with other professionals in the establishment and running of trusts.

As part of the comprehensive service we deal with all aspects of administration including a full book-keeping and record keeping service. We provide a full review of the tax status of trusts and estates. We deal with the preparation of tax returns for Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and where appropriate Value Added Tax and liaising with HMRC as necessary.
